Commodity feeds are an important part of beef and dairy cattle feeding in Kentucky and Tennessee. Cumberland Commodities was founded in 1992 to meet that need.
In 1995, Burkmann Feeds formed a partnership with Greenleaf Plant Foods in Danville, Kentucky, and built a new commodity blending plant utilizing the rail siding at Greenleaf.
Burkmann Feeds offers all the major commodities including soy hull pellets, corn gluten feed pellets, distillers grain, soybean meal, whole (fuzzy) cottonseed and cottonseed hulls.
Individually or as commodity blends, Burkmann Feeds offers a complete bulk selection, picked up at the plant or delivered.

Travis McFalls joined Cumberland Commodities in 2003, while Vicky Greer and Stacy Wilson joined in 2007.
